Job Overview: 

The Project Consultant will lead customers through their implementations and expansions of SAP Concur Expense, Request, and Invoice Core Services, as well as associated add-on products which are activated by either the Professional or Standard implementation methodology.

This will be part of the Higher Education Segment, which is a part of the Public Sector Service Account Team in NA Service Delivery and is responsible for executing all project deliverables for the Core Services of Expense, Request, and Invoice. You will execute phase 1 and phase 2 implementations within aggressive timeframes while consistently delivering exceptional levels of work quality and customer satisfaction. You will also resolve case issues logged by our subscription support service customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project schedules, schedule SAP Concur resources and all project-related meetings, and consult with a variety of SAP Concur and customer resources to identify solutions for each implementation
  • Gather functional and business requirements from customers, evaluate their needs and create a system design and resultant configuration while working closely together with Concur Specialist and Technical resources
  • Make presentations to customers regarding Service feature functionality and assist customers in their testing and deployments
  • Manage the expectations of the customer (internal and external) with regard to product functionality, functional deliverables, timeframes, etc. by understanding the key business drivers and their prioritization
  • Ensure completion of deliverables, meeting milestones, and delivering within budget, while ensuring customer system implementation success
  • Consistently communicate deliverable status with SAP Concur team members and customer
  • Adhere to Concur standard operating procedures to transition customers from implementation to Enterprise Support
  • Timely and accurately resolve case issues loggedby subscription support service customers
  • Provide contributions to SAP Concur’s implementation methodologies and document library which includes development of new documents/processes as well as updates to existing documents/processes
  • Qualifications

  • SAP FI certification required
  • 3+ years technical or consulting experience in a software/services environment
  • Willingness, desire and drive to learn this position
  •  Skills That Are A Plus:

  • Understanding of financial accounting, especially in regard to expenses is a plus
  • Experience with Ellucian Banner, Ellucian Colleague, PeopleSoft, or Oracle ERP is a plus
  • Project Management experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP Concur Invoice, Company Billed Statements, Budget and Request is a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP Concur Standard Implementation of Expense and Invoice is a plus
  • Previous experience in Higher Education or working with Higher Education customers is a plus
