Summary:
We are seeking a (Senior) Practicing Information Security Instructor (f/m/d) to help SAP products reach the next level. Our team is improving SAP product security by fostering knowledge, raising security awareness, and incubating security culture. Join us in this mission by building training content, facilitating hands-on security lessons, and leading security cohorts.

The Role:
As a (Senior) Practicing Information Security Instructor (f/m/d), you will join with our current instructors in a cross-functional agile team. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the team to build and deliver instructor-led security training
  • Support security awareness and culture through events and cohort programs
  • Work with the Cyber Defense team to stay on top of evolving industry threats and SAP product security requirements
  • Contribute to stretch assignments with other teams to maintain technical security skillsets
  • Identify new security knowledge opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to validate, prioritize, and plan execution
  • Opportunity to work with customers, partners, and open-source communities

  • YOUR PROFILE:

    Bachelor’s in computer science, related degree, or equivalent work experience. Candidate must have strong English communication and presentation skills (verbal/written) and a high degree of emotional intelligence. The ideal candidate thrives on learning and sharing knowledge and possess an eagerness to work in multiple domains. Skillset requirements include:

  • 4+ Yrs experience in a technical cyber security or related role
  • 4+ Yrs performing one or more of the following: mentoring, training, public speaking, or public/private education
  • 2+ Yrs developing high-quality presentation or training materials using PowerPoint
  • One or more industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications: E.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CSSP, CEH, OSCP, GSEC, etc.
  • Preferred: Hands-on software development experience on a large enterprise project in the past 10 years
  • Plus: Experience chairing internal or external security forums
