Job Description

Positions Summary: The Remote Rotational Electrician will support our operations in Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the latest industry practices and safety measures. They will have the ability to manage medium and low-voltage systems and perform comprehensive troubleshooting to identify and rectify malfunctions.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Execute plans for electrical wiring, intercom, and other electrical systems, following local electrical codes and standards.
  • Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems.
  • Install safety and distribution components such as switches, resistors, and circuit-breaker panels.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure continuous operation of electrical systems. This includes routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, and cleaning circuits.
  • Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or replace damaged units.
  • Collaborate with designers and architects to determine the best placement of electrical wiring.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
  • Perform daily reports of the status of the operation.


Education and Experience:

  • Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
  • Proven experience as an Electrician.
  • Proven knowledge of AC electrical theory, including grounding logic and grid layout principles
  • Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
  • Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, amp meter, etc.) and electrical drawings.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, NEC regulations, and guidelines.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Control systems troubleshooting capabilities.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

  • Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight, if necessary.
  • This position includes regular travel depending on customers need. Typical travel includes TX & LA.
