Senior Director, Marketing Solutions, US Region

The Sr. Director Marketing, Solutions, U.S Region is a key strategic leadership role in US Region Marketing. The Sr. Director will drive the strategy and execution of solutions across ~$10B in businesses to deliver integrated programs as one BD to strategic customers including IDNs and alternate sites. They will consider the customer – workflows/protocols, clinical, and economic drivers of performance to successfully implement solutions. The strategic leader will drive results through influence across marketing, key account management teams, medical, clinical services, and regulatory. The role will deliver sales growth across BD and utilize the integrated approach as a catalyst to drive growth for respective business units within it. The leader will collaborate with key contributors and stakeholders to maximize value for the customer and BD.

Solutions Development:

  • Linking customer needs, motivations, and incentives to existing/future BD solutionsC-suite, IDN leaders/influencers, clinical leaders, and administration
  • Patient journey perspective and how to position BD solutions to improve outcomes across the continuum of care
  • Consider product, services, technology, in scope to solution offering developmentUnderstand and integrate across capital, consumable, and software components
  • HAIs initial focus, others may include workflow standardization, medication, and patient management...
  • Develop value prop and associated messaging to unlock customer value by utilizing the broad solution offering and integrated approach, tap into the multipliers and synergies across BD, connected to customer value
  • Consider all levels of application across customer types and call points – messages, proof points and value propositions are complimentary and consider specific audiences
  • Develop and execute creative and innovative go-to-market approaches
  • Program Execution, Measurement & Results:

  • Key association engagement and partnership
  • Deliver omni-channel campaign to accompany program - key association, direct to customer, and digital engagement
  • Incorporate tools such as economic value, clinical evidence, and assessments
  • Strategy, targets for execution and progress - accountable for driving growth through solutions
  • Establish KPIs: sales growth, customer experience, sustainability
  • Incorporate existing programs/pilot key learnings into solution offering evolution
  • Develop value structure: pricing, rebates, incentives
  • Coordinate with market analytics and customer insights to develop targets and test solution offering, program, and go-to-market
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership, Influence & Strategy Development:

  • Medical evidence strategy and partnership; including HEOR
  • Regulatory to effectively position BD solutions to customers
  • Commercial including marketing (downstream and upstream), sales, key account management to drive execution
  • Marketing analytics and customer insights: segmentation, targeting, tools
  • Alignment with global branding, and One BD Value Proposition
  • Leader of US Region solutions taskforce including core and extended multidisciplinary team members
  • Position Skills & Requirements

  • Ability to navigate effectively in highly matrixed environment

  • Minimum 10 years multifunctional experience in healthcare/ life sciences/Medical Device company
  • BA in related scientific/clinical discipline, business and/or marketing
