Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities: Be able to understand HLD& LLD documents Ability to adapt to & adopt new technology footprints to optimize business solutions Applies knowledge of principles and techniques to solve technical problems Be able to translate business requirements/functional design to job design Be able to design and develop solutions for inbound and outbound file functionalities using PL / SQL / Oracle / PERL Work on EDI transactions 837 and 835 Design and develop UI solutions using C#.NET / Java / Angular JS Lead a team of 5-10 developers and QA Specification and management of coding, usability and quality standards Collaborate with QA team members Participate in test case reviews, and production support for incidents Develop innovative approaches on performance optimization & automation Provide timely updates on tasks to reporting supervisor Adhere to the defined SLA Compliance Develop and maintain standards, common processes and best practices as per Industry standards You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 12+ years of overall IT experience 6+ years of experience in FACETS claims processing applications 6+ years of experience in FACETS finance / billing processing applications 4+ years of Project Lead / Technical Lead / Solution Architect / System Analyst background OR 6+ years of relevant development background with the desire to take a Technical Lead role Experience with Agile / Scrum Methodologies Good understanding of end to end claim lifecycle Good understanding of the structure and significance of key / HIPAA X12 EDI transactions like 837, 277CA, 835, etc. Good understanding of Claims domain in Facets which includes Data Model, Core Claims processing batch jobs, Facets UI, Facets Workflow tool Good understanding of claims pricing, errors, edits, adjustments & payments Good understanding of Medicaid / Medicare lines of business Skilled with MS Office Suite, Visio, MS Project, and SharePoint Good understanding of Health plan set up You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting, however, may be required to work from home temporarily due to space limitations Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe.
