We're searching for our next Social Media Senior Communications Manager who can take charge and spearhead our social media strategies for our federal clients - from healthcare to child welfare, energy to environment, and everything in between.Across our organization, we're focused on making a real impact and helping our clients address and solve their key issues. To do that, you'll lead our growing team of social media strategists in business development, work closely with client account leads to embed strategy and analytics in our programs, and coach and mentor our social media team to success.Do you understand today's ever-changing social media landscape, platforms, and social influencer space to help our clients innovate and push their brands and messages forward? Are you passionate about social media and its evolving role in strategic communications and marketing? Do you have prior experience working with federal, state, and/or local government programs? Some travel to D.C. metro area may be required when Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.As a Senior Communications Manager, Social Media, you will:+ Work with client team leads develop their social media strategy as part of their overall strategic communications plans. This person pairs their deep understanding of the social ecosystems with an ability to collaborate and drive account teams to build and execute ideas and campaigns.?+ Advocate for clients, internal client service teams, and junior employees to see beyond traditional social media to understand how social connects to all aspects of marketing and communications.?+ Drive both new and organic business growth, including new business capture and proposal development.?+ Council client teams on strategic insights that will drive brand relevancy through changes to user behavior, content types, and real-time trends/data.?+ Guide social media and creative teams on optimizing messages and content designed for users, platforms, and outcomes.?+ Serve as a the ICF Next Government subject matter expert for all aspects of social media.?+ Understand how to successfully integrate creative, data/analytics, paid media, and/or other client services teams to develop insight-driven content campaigns.?As a Senior Communications Manager, Social Media, you will have:+ 8-12?years of experience in social media, communications, and marketing; experience in health communications and/or PR and advertising agency is a plus?+ Bachelor's degree in related field?+ Experience working directly with clients in highly regulated industries to build social media, communications, and marketing strategies and plans?+ Experience managing employees and creative teams?+ Ability to give and receive positive and negative feedback to/from junior employees, creative team members, client account leads, and clients?+ Ability to listen and communicate in a clear and compelling way in both verbal and written forms?+ Ability to manage multiple clients and competing deadlines?+ Ability to foster creativity and turn insights and conversations into ideas?+ Ability to see beyond social media and understand how everything is connected and works together across digital ecosystems, user experiences, and earned media?+ Positive,?proactive,?and can-do attitude?+ Thirst for knowledge and creative inspiration around social media?Job Location(s): Within the current landscape, this role will be supported remotely.#Indeed #LI-CC1Working at ICFWorking at ICF means applying a passion for meaningful work with intellectual rigor to help solve the leading issues of our day.
