PLC Controls Supervisor
Coordinates the day-to-day activities of automation functions to ensure that production equipment, machinery, or instruments function reliably and safely.
Provide Supervision and leadership to technicians, and some maintenance associates and Instrumentation/controls technicians Responsible for building teams that will keep production equipment in excellent condition Oversees outside contractors performing installations and projects at the facility. Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product Manage backup and disaster recovery programs Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or other technical discipline Well-versed with automation and controls ( Allen Bradley, VFD Drives, Soft Starters, HMI's, PLC 5 and Control Logix PLC platforms)
