Job Summary

The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for managing the administration, communication, compliance, and analysis related to company-wide compensation programs. The role will evaluate and analyze salary data, determine pay grades, support internal compensation recommendations, and participate in compensation surveys. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage Paycor’s compensation processes (i.e. annual merit, bonus, market adjustment, promotion, and equity administration processes).*
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of overall pay structures that align with business objectives, ensuring compliance with changing laws and regulations. *
  • Provides internal client support to HR Business Partners and Management on compensation issues and projects. May also participate in ad hoc teams.
  • Maintains compensation and market pricing tools with strong working knowledge of Paycor HCM.
  • Develop and document pay practices and policies, educating managers and other stakeholders*
  • Administer job classification process including job analysis, determining pay grade and FLSA status
  • Participate in making salary recommendations ensuring both internal and external equity, providing guidance to hiring managers for internal movement
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc compensation analysis and recommendations as requested
  • Participate in salary surveys, analyzes data, present findings and make recommendations*
  • Partner with other HR Operations team members and payroll to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Create compensation tools and resources including the maintenance of pay structures*

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related area
  • Minimum of 3-5 years exempt level experience in Human Resources with an emphasis in compensation
  • CCP certification preferred
  • Demonstrated strength in MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Professional, detail oriented and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a timely and client centered manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and interface effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
  • Track record of excellent performance in the areas of teamwork, customer service and problem solving
  • Current knowledge of state and federal employment and labor laws.
