RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a Remote Tier 1 Azure Service Desk. Duties:
- Tier 1 Azure Service Desk will support end-users in a way that respects the value of their time and the value of their business
- Clearly communicate expectations with customers
- Document issues and resolutions in detail
- As a Tier 1 Azure Service Desk, you will provide preventative maintenance services
- Provide emergency service to clients as required. Troubleshoot and resolve network, server, workstation, and software problems
- Deploy servers, workstations, printers, routers, firewalls, and other hardware as required by client
- Install operating systems, networking software/firmware, and application software
- Tier 1 Azure Service Desks install and configure software to meet the client's functional, performance and security requirements
- Track daily activities to generate billing reports; Work with the client and with Management to determine how to increase the company's value to its clients
- Tier 1 Azure Service Desks support the daily operations of Cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and underlying technologies
Job Requirements:REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems desired; Education may be substituted with related work experience
- Overall, 1 or more years of experience as a Helpdesk/Service desk technician or comparable experience
- Experience with Anti-virus solutions
- Strong TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS configuration and troubleshooting experience a plus
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows 10
Items below are not required:
- MCP, MCSA, or MCSE Certification a plus
- CISCO hardware/IOS experience a plus
- Experience in Network Management in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Firewall and VPN installation, configuration and troubleshooting experience IIS configuration, load balancing, and troubleshooting experience desired
- Experience in installing, troubleshooting, and administration of Microsoft Windows Servers including Server 2016 and 2019 and Windows 10, 7/8.1 Desktop operating systems
- Server virtualization technologies, Microsoft Hyper-V experience required, other virtualization experience a plus
- Client virtualization technologies, (e.g.: Citrix Xen Desktop/XenApp, VMware View, Microsoft RDS, and App-V experience is a plus)
- Background in Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory design, implementation, and administration desired; ADFS experience preferred
- Experience in Troubleshooting and administration of Exchange, including Exchange 2013, 2016
- Microsoft Azure and Office 365 experience a plus
- Experienced in Azure Resource Manager, DSC, and JSON a plus
