Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Data Architect to sit fully remote for one of our largest clients in the Cleveland, OH area. This person will be providing design solutions for application integration projects from RDBMS to cloud migration, ETL Solutions, and Business Intelligence Layer Creation. They will be responsible for performing application retesting to ascertain remediation of previously determined vulnerabilities, providing leadership for complex projects throughout the development of project work plans, milestone tracking, and coordination of efforts. This candidate will be working closely with software development partners & solution architects to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in applications. This candidate will be writing dynamic SQL queries based on project stories and review code of the other developers for ongoing change requests.

Minimum Requirements

10+ years of experience supporting data engineering activities including data architect development and maintenance, data modeling, data governance, data migration, and data dictionary design.

10+ years of professional experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or related role developing conceptual, logical, and preliminary physical models for an enterprise.

Experience gathering and analyzing Data Requirements, Design, Development, and Implementation of Application Components.

Extensive experience on database and analytical technologies in the industry including Data Warehouse Design, BI Reportings Dashboard Development, and NoSQL Storage and ETL/ELT Process Development.

Hands on experience with SQL and strong hands-on scripting programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Cloud Technologies.

Desired Skills

Experience with Data Visualization Tools (Tableau and R)
