Here, you will make an impact by:Proactively communicate and support plantsTechnology training and transfer for plant supportProviding effective control system solutions to a variety of new and existing automated process equipmentLeading Development and design of control system architectureSelecting hardware and providing software to run new process equipmentExperience leading control systems projects (machine installation and commissioning)Working in a team environment to successfully meet project milestonesFlexibility in scheduling to meet internal customer demandsAbility to travel on short noticeYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionThree years of experience working with machine control system design and commissioning in a private, public, government, or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionFive years of experience working with machine control system design and commissioningRockwell Automation - ControlLogix/CompactLogix/GuardLogix PLCs, PowerFlex Drives, Kinetix Motion Servos, PanelviewExperience with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens controls systems and hardwareExperience with automation and/or roboticsTeam player with the ability to contribute in a cross-functional environmentLocated within 50 miles of a regional or international airport
