We have an exciting opportunity with a well-known creative agency - known for working with global leaders, social justice campaigns, public health, and entertainment industries - looking for a PR/Community Engagement Communications Manager to join their social media and communications team in a direct hire position! You will be working with research program leaders, engaging with communities to help raise awareness of campaigns through interviews, conferences, public speaking engagements and social media campaigns.

JOB DETAILS

Key Responsibilities

  • Increase the public engagement by researching, vetting and submitting them for public speaking opportunities to raise awareness of the campaign and the program
  • Work with communications department to provide public relations support for media opportunities by building media lists, talking points, and crafting resources to facilitate successful media engagements
  • Provide key talking points and help translate scientific and technical information to more digestible data for the greater public for speaking engagements, or social media postings
  • Work with the social media team to grow, manage, and evaluate the success of social media platforms for the All of Us CEO
  • Create content derived from interviews and other speaking engagements or interviews to continue to engage the All of Us community at-large, through consistent social media posting and community management
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience with social media marketing, preferably for major brands and/or organizations
  • An effective communicator with the ability to communicate with all levels within an organization, including C-level executives
  • Experience in public relations helping to manage high profile clientele
  • The ability to translate social media terminology into digestible summaries for other team members
  • A social media expert who is able to create opportunities for engaging social media content, capture it, and work with the team to create and distribute
  • Commitment to excellence - working nonstandard hours when necessary, anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy, identifying emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation
  • Passion for analytics - familiarity with social media metrics, developing and analyzing reports
