About the Role

CrowdStrike is seeking a progressive and accomplished Public Sector marketing leader to drive planning and execution in U.S. Public Sector and Healthcare markets. This person will collaborate across marketing, sales and alliances teams to achieve business goals and revenue targets.

In this role, the Director, U.S. Public Sector Marketing is responsible for defining, deploying and ongoing management of an evolving, growth-oriented marketing strategy and team, focused on brand awareness, new prospects, pipeline generation and acceleration.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Americas Field Marketing, the ideal candidate is a dynamic, hands-on leader with proven programs and partner marketing accomplishments. This individual thrives on making data-driven decisions and building scalable campaigns that address the needs of agencies and institutions in U.S. Public Sector and Healthcare markets.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Public Sector and technology space, strategic planning and integrated marketing programs execution. Excellent organizational and communication skills and the proven ability to work cross functionally and influence stakeholders is key to success in this role.

We are currently open to candidates that work remotely in the US East Coast.

In this role, the ideal candidate will:

  • Deliver comprehensive and effective growth marketing plans for brand awareness, new lead and pipeline generation, joint partner marketing and cross-sell to existing customer accounts.

  • Direct and mentor Marketing Managers responsible for formulating and executing high-impact marketing plans.

  • Define and develop multi-channel campaigns including themes, messaging and assets in collaboration with internal marketing teams including Global Campaigns, Corporate Communications, Digital, Customer and Product Marketing.

  • Understands and translates detailed analysis of key performance indicators, business objectives and customer needs into strategic initiatives and integrated campaigns that will optimize ROI.

  • Collaborate closely with Public Sector Sales and Alliances leaders for alignment of goals and plans.

  • Partner with Marketing Operations to understand the customer journey, prospect behavior, trigger points and identify targets for specific marketing programs.

  • Strive for operational excellence and effectively manage budgets to optimize return on investment in alignment with business goals.

  • What You’ll Need 

  • 8+ years Marketing Management experience with a minimum of 5 years in Public Sector marketing.

  • Ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and work collaboratively and successfully with peers and colleagues.

  • Public Sector and partner marketing experience in a technology company. SaaS-based preferred.

  • Ability to articulate the marketing needs of Public Sector internally in order to develop and execute relevant campaigns focused on target accounts and audiences.

  • Track record of success in setting marketing priorities and strategy, developing integrated marketing campaigns and executing programs to achieve sales goals.

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, problem-solving capabilities with the ability to see the big picture.

  • Data-driven, analytical mindset. Working knowledge of Salesforce.com is an advantage.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills: lead cross-functional teams to deliver programs, manage multiple projects simultaneously, work on tight deadlines and keep all programs on schedule.

  • Ability to travel is required (approximately 20-30%, depending on time of year) to support regional events, company meetings, and general team management requirements.
