Job SummaryThe Business Development Manager, Microsoft is a member of AVI-SPL's Technology and Innovation organization accountable for supporting the sales, design, and global accounts which support implementation of AVISPL's Microsoft M365 and Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) Strategy. This position is responsible for coordination and communication between internal AVI-SPL stakeholders to ensure effective planning, implementation, and lifecycle management of key processes, product development, and service delivery in both internal and external customers. The position should also provide input in all aspects of strategy development and implementation leveraging specific expertise in Microsoft Teams, UCC and related Information Technology topics. This role is strategic in nature but will also participate in tactical efforts within the business by providing oversight, leadership and direction to ensure Microsoft pre-sales, sales and delivery processes are accurate, updated and followed.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLeads customer interactions and develops sales opportunities that are identified from referrals and "leads" from Microsoft and from Microsoft ecosystem partners.Leads the creation and deployment of appropriate Microsoft M365 and Teams training, content/sales messaging, processes, practices, forms, and tools to support the sales force.Supports Microsoft product launches by preparing and enabling the sales force to understand and sell new solutions.Identifies opportunities and effectively position AVI-SPL services for Microsoft solutions, including partner delivered services and hybrid services.Supports the buying and selling processes at all stages, from lead generation through win/loss as it relates to customer experiences and life-cycle activities.Supports frontline sales managers in executing effective Microsoft go to market strategies and establishing a sales coaching program where required.Manages Microsoft Customers Experience for all Microsoft M365 products as well as Teams Voice projects and coordinates Customer Experience activities for promoting adoption, expansion, and renewal throughout the Customer life-cycle.Support specialized programs such as Fast Track Rooms Offer, Meeting Room Partner Program and Claiming Partner Of Record. Assist in the administration and management of these programs and specific customer engagements.Understand our global capabilities with Microsoft.
