Description: 

The Head of Sales (HOS) role is vital in all of our selling markets. As the HOS, you will lead a hungry, fast-moving sales team and help Visme hurdle over our growth goals. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for hiring, developing and leading a high-performing team of SDR’s and Strategic Account Leaders to meet and exceed sales goals. The right candidate is truly passionate about B2B SaaS software and has a proven track record to talk about! Head of Sales Responsibilities

  • Drives, manages and executes the business and revenue of a sales team
  • Analyzes market dynamics in an effort to maximize existing successes and to create new sales growth opportunities
  • Manages inbound leads and operations of an effective, outbound lead generation process
  • Prepares forecasts, territory/industry management, and growth plans
  • Educates team on significant industry factors including competitive products, regulations, trends, customer needs, and pricing
  • Establishes and reports on metrics to measure team performance; and to correct deficiencies where necessary
  • Ensures that the sales plan is aligned with and supports Visme’s revenue goal
  • Recruits and hires top talent onto your team; while also investing time towards building and engaging a pipeline of top talent for potential future hires
  • Scales and manages a team of SDRs and Strategic Account Leaders; fostering a successful and positive team environment
  • Works collaboratively with Marketing and Customer Success for integrated prospect and customer journey across departments

Head of Sales (Intermediate) Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in senior sales and deal management, along with familiarity and input on operations within the SaaS space; with a background in remote work and management of a team 
  • Experience selling in SaaS ecosystem; willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and support the sales process whenever needed
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance objectives (revenue targets, pipeline targets, etc.)
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems and other marketing/sales tools (such as Salesforce, PipeDrive, Outreach, ZoomInfo, etc).
  • Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, and creativity to changing needs and situations; ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Strong presentation skills; Executive level communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to mentor others
