OBJECTIVE :

The Brand Marketing Specialist must be self-motivated and possess the ability to effectively establish and execute plans with a keen attention to detail, accuracy and timing. The candidate will have a solid understanding on marketing to the Demeyere Cookware audience.

The Brand Marketing Specialist will work within the Marketing Communications department, Social and PR along with a strong collaboration with the Demeyere – Belgium team.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Is adept at both working independently and collaborating with others
  • Has prior experience in D2C marketing
  • Strong project management skills
  • Has solid organizational skills - planning, expediting, prioritizing, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with social media, branding and digital marketing
  • Able to explain complex ideas in a simple way
  • Know and love the Demeyere Brand
  • Have a passion for cooking

Primary Job Responsibilities:

This position will report to the Director, Marketing Communications and will be responsible for:
  • Establishing, planning and executing a strategic Marketing Plan for maximum engagement, including but not limited to:
    • Identify the essential demographic
    • Recommend best outreach marketing channels that drive back to demeyere.com (i.e. in-store, direct mail / print advertising / mobile advertising / online, social, etc).
    • Brainstorm new and creative growth/outreach strategies.
  • Partnering with internal resources (Demeyere – Belgium, Design, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales) to develop campaigns (digital, email, collateral, social media, traditional, etc.) and collaborate on content development to ensure brand alignment.
  • Understanding the consumer demand and shopping patterns of the key demographic as it relates to the Demeyere brand.
  • Determine the most effective Demeyere messaging to reach this audience.
  • Tracking and analyzing the sales.
  • Identify, recruit and manage the social media platforms for the Demeyere Brand.
  • Manage the influencer/brand ambassador programs.
  • Occasional travel to headquarters in NY as well as Belgium.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ direct experience.
  • Experience in direct and digital marketing ideally in a similar industry.
  • Strong communication skills.
