· Responsible for designing and implementing IT infrastructure and cloud solutions and capabilities to fit with the business initiatives, this includes improving the current infrastructure and integration of new solutions into existing systems.
· Provide architectural guidance for several critical infrastructure efforts underway within the organization - both BAU activities as well as project activities
· Produce detailed plans and technical design for the integration and implementation of new system(s) into existing infrastructure
· Coordinate meetings, resources, information and etc.
· Participate in evaluating the success of the project, help identity best practices/areas that need improvement and report findings to management
· Ensure that all management and supporting documentation is in place
· May be called upon to assist or engage as an Engineer/SME for certain tools and solutions and other technical hands-on activities as needed.
· Other duties as assigned of similar nature that the company reasonably requests to be performed that are within the expertise and skill of the consultant.
Job Requirements:
· Experience in designing and implementing Azure cloud infrastructure
· Demonstrated fluency of the Microsoft stack (M365, Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, Intune, AIP, Defender)
· Knowledgeable of cloud layers(IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and cloud computing models(public, private, hybrid)
· Familiar with project management concepts & methodologies
· Adept in managing third-party providers
· Broad understanding of web, storage, database, networking, middleware, virtualization, and security technologies
· Experience in utilizing MS Office suite and ServiceNow
· Excellent resource management, time management, detail-oriented and problem-solving skills
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
· Background in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred but not required
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related field or an equivalent education/training
