Job Summary:The Lead Data Programmer Analyst is passionate about healthcare delivery in a patient care setting. A successful candidate is articulate, analytical, and a team player who understands the power of data in clinical settings.The developer enjoys coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to create end to end solutions for improving operational and clinical decision making. S/he learns quickly, works independently, and is relentless in overcoming technical, process, and organizational obstacles.The senior developer will join the Data and Analytics team in the Center for Healthcare Quality and Analytics and will be responsible for empowering users with data across the institution, providing a unique blend of clinical, technical, and analytical expertise.The Lead will be an institutional expert across the entire data development lifecycle from data collection, data extraction, to data analysis and data visualization.The individual will have excellent business acumen to help guide leaders in the creation and validation of KPIs to measure process and outcomes.The individual will be an expert in systems, tools, and processes to guide leaders and teams in estimating, designing, and building sustainable solutions that meet the most complex business objectives. They will individually contribute to the development of these solutions and apply advanced analytics as necessary.The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL, Qlikview, QlikSense, R, Webi/BusinessObjects and Crystal reports.Deliverables may include standing up and updating existing dashboards, reports, Crystal Reports, and Qlik dashboards.Experience in SQL, Qlikview, QlikSense, R, Business objects, crystal reports is required.

Job Responsibilites:Exceptional Technical Skills and strong knowledge of Data Warehousing and Analytics technologies (SQL, Netezza, Oracle, Cloud Environments).Exceptional skills with Business Intelligence Tools (R, Qlik, SAP BO)Expertise in developing powerful, user-friendly, visualizations.Strong understanding of visualization concepts and effective data storytelling approachesExperience with Epic Analytics Tools Cogito (Reporting Workbench, Radar, Crystal)Develops analytical solutions that are powered by robust data infrastructure which promotes scalability, re-use, and reproducibility of data.Develops end-to-end technical architecture to include data input solutions, data governance process, enterprise data management, and the analysis-presentation of complex data.Expertise in defining and developing KPIs and other meaningful metrics.Guides clinical teams and business stakeholders on large scope projects: gathering requirements, developing metrics, retrieving data, and ensuring validity of resultsUtilizes advanced analytical and/or statistical ability to evaluate data, and make judgments and recommendations regarding process and outcome improvement work, financial outcomes, resource utilization, and clinical practice patternsProposes and creates innovative and appropriate data solutions (dashboards, reports, business intelligence tools, etc) for the measurement of processes and outcomesAdept at learning new information systems and how the data generated contributes to the data development lifecycleAdvises on new data models, testing frameworks, and documentation practicesDemonstrates excellent presentation and communication skills to share findings in an understandable and actionable manner tailored to audience and customer's needs.1. Experience with data integration tools: DBT, Informatica, MS Integration Services etc.

4. Epic Clarity, Epic Cogito Certification
