The Network Pricing Analyst Implements, supports and validates Provider Network (Physicians, Clinics, Pharmacies, etc.) and Client pricing constructs. The Pricing Analyst role facilitates implementations and data changes/database updates on behalf of Finance and multiple other internal groups such as Provider Relations, Tmesys Network, Account Management, Business Operations, Accounts Receivable and Billing. Core functions include monitoring of subscriber data feeds, related loads to assure systematic risks are identified and corrected, and audit and analysis of automated provider and client related pricing architecture and algorithms. The position requires knowledge related to new and migrated client implementations, as well as pricing related factors such as pricing sequences, lessor of logic, specialty networks, upcharges, and carve out based on Product, Provider, or State Jurisdiction and knowledge of related order entry and processing systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
• Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
• Solve moderately complex problems and/or conduct moderately complex analyses
• Implements work items in strict adherence to the Data Management change control and Quality Assurances processes
• Work with minimal guidance; seek guidance on only the most complex tasks
• Translate concepts into practice
• Provide explanations and information to others on difficult issues

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
• Ability to communicate complex information verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical customers, internal personnel and executives

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience working in a health care, managed care and/or health insurance environment in a Finance and/or compliance role
• 1+ years of experience with relational databases (SQL)
• 1+ years of experience with provider payment methodologies and healthcare products
