As consumers migrate in their droves to online shopping our client is helping to revolutionize the online experience by creating a best-in-class buying experience from checkout to fraud detection, all while providing an easy to use, simple UI for the user.
They are looking for a Data Scientist to play a mission-critical role in designing and building the data mining algorithms, and data analytics pipelines.
You will:
- Build production ready data mining and big data analytics algorithms and pipelines; your models will be the engine that powers all online commerce
- Conduct data analysisto determine which policies we adopt and help inform strategic growth
- Build statistical models, data pipelines, data mining, data analytics, and production ready services to serve offline and live traffic
- Work with other teams to engineer data models and extract data insights that help improve business
About you:
- Passion for improving eCommerce businesses
- Advanced skills in one or more of the following: Python, Java, Scala, SQL
- Master's degree in relevant technical field
- Strong skills in data mining and big data analytics
Tech Stack:
- AWS Lambda for data ingestion
- AWS Redshift - datawarehouse
- Terraform
- Jenkins & Circle CI for pipeline builds
