Lead Quality Assurance Analyst - Remote

Come join our GTE Financial team! The Lead Technical Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for supporting the testing and quality phases of the SDLC, troubleshooting, and production support. The analyst will be creating an end-to-end test plan, executing the plan, and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all objectives are met, and that the solution works as expected. Solutions are tested in forms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with other systems (internal or external). This is a Lead Technical Quality Assurance position that is to manage and focus on all aspects of testing including but not limited to: functional testing, load testing, scripted testing, regression testing, integration testing, systems testing, end-to-end testing, acceptance testing, and usability testing. What does GTE look for in a Lead Technical Quality Assurance? Testing: Design, prioritize, and implement test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures. Manage and communicate test plans, test results, analysis, and unresolved problems. Participate in user research and usability testing to help improve the user experience. Analyze, interpret, and communicate qualitative and quantitative findings from tests. Conduct compatibility tests with other software programs, hardware, multiple operating systems, and network environments. Contribute to establishment of standards and procedures for program design and testing. Train, coordinate, and schedule resources to assist in testing large projects. Identify and track mobile operating system releases for continued custom app support including regression testing new mobile OS and hardware versions. Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and increasing knowledge of existing tools, automations, and testing processes. Technical: Design, develop, and manage software testing solutions targeting multiple testing scenarios Work with Application Development and business units to interpret functional requirements and create test cases for new or updated features. Assist with prioritizing bug fixing efforts and areas of test focus. Establish benchmarks for program efficiency in operating and response times. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track results and known defects. Interact with users to create test cases for problems in software after implementation. Prepare testing status reports and keep management and stakeholders informed of testing status and related issues. Create and maintain testing documentation. Including but not limited to technical documentation, FAQs, and training materials. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Be passionate about learning new technologies and increasing personal development. Ability to think logically and troubleshoot issues. Motivated to learn new business and technical concepts. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Work independently, as a team member, and as a team lead. Maintain an understanding of GTE Financial products and services. Understanding of the latest virtual channel solutions; including Interactive Teller machines and cross-platform mobile solutions. TECHNICAL SKILLSET: Expertise (2-5+ years) in the following: Azure DevOps Testing / Microsoft Test Manager (Visual Studio Test) Scripting tools Load testing tools C#/.NET Web browser technology: Edge, Internet Explorer (IE), Chrome, FireFox Various mobile platforms and devices: Android, iOS, mobile web browser SQL Azure DevOps/Team Foundation Server; source control and work item tracking Experience in the following: HTML/HTML5 CSS JavaScript ASP.NET IIS Windows Services WCF WinForms Web Services Oracle Nice to have: SQR SharePoint PowerShell Agile development experience Previous experience in the financial industry Required Qualifications: B.A. or B.S. degree in IT, business or equivalent educational or work experience. 2 or more years of experience with SQL, .NET testing, Visual Studio Team Testing/Azure Dev. Ops tools, and mobile device testing. A minimum of 2 or more years’ experience creating scripted and automated tests. Position Details: Location: Work from Home Department Hours: Monday– Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects. Required for Remote Work: A quiet workplace so you can focus on delivering excellent service to our members. Must live in a location that can leverage an existing high-speed internet service. Minimum upload speed 5 MB/s, preferred upload speed 25 MB/s. Minimum download speed 25 MB/s, preferred download speed 50 MB/s.
