IT Principal Software Engineer The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. We are looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in building cloud-native applications for our BI, Data Analytics, Reporting, and Intelligence platform using latest technologies and methodologies. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Hands-on software development experience with an average of 10+ of experience in business analytics, data management, and reporting areas and languages such as Java, Java Spring, Spring Boot, Python, Security, and REST services, Design patterns and integrations such as service mesh, service discovery, event-driven models & message integrations using RabbitMQ, Kafka. Exposure to PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry), PKS or other cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP and Azure Exposure on working with oracle 12c, noSQL databases such as Cassandra, Mongo or Multi-model databases Exposure to data analysis, data visualization and data modeling tools Exposure to DevOps and CI / CD processes using Gitlab Exposure to Agile methodologies, test automation frameworks and tools (Pair programming, TDD, BDD, Pivotal methodology) Desirable Requirements • 8+ years of validated experience • Bachelor’s degree in computing engineering or computer science Here’s our story; now tell us yours Dell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
