Position Summary

As a Director within the Global Pricing and Product Strategy team you will be responsible for leading, developing and owning client relationships, managing large and/or multiple global projects simultaneously while ensuring quality work product, client satisfaction and ongoing staff development. Working on multiple projects in parallel allows for broad exposure to a wide range of projects and clients. Directors are also responsible for business development with a contribution of sales.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

  • Creates and manages all aspects of project work streams
  • Leads primary research with global payers, key opinion leaders, physicians, and patients
  • Synthesizes insight and recommendations from primary and secondary research
  • Develops relevant pricing and market access strategy, ensures project direction and manages project plan to fully meet all client deliverables
  • Develops and maintains client relationships
  • Initiates and converts business development opportunities
  • Leads client meetings and helps manage client expectations
  • Responsible for ensuring the work product contains data that is accurate and correctly cited in addition to ensuring the quality of work performed by the team
  • Develops expertise in specific areas and demonstrates such expertise by leading development of products, pitches, IP, etc.
  • Strong leader of the local office
  • Will lead certain areas of practice development (e.g. marketing, recruiting, mentoring)
Qualifications

Minimum Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6+ years of consulting or related business analytics/strategy experience, the majority of which is within the healthcare space (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, diagnostics industry)
  • Interested candidates MUST have market access experience
  • Interested candidates MUST have a background and experience in consulting
Other Required
  • Ability and flexibility to travel
Preferred
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Economics, Business or a related field is preferred; a Master’s or PhD degree in Science, Economics, Business or a related field is an advantage
  • Expertise in US pricing & market access, developed via experience in healthcare consulting or within the pharmaceutical industry
  • A strong track record in managing successful healthcare consulting projects, including excellent project and team management skills (e.g. mentoring junior staff members)
  • Track record of achievement that shows initiative and drive
Skills
  • Strong MS Office literacy e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Self-starting attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow rapidly
  • Proven critical thinking, analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, and an ability to build credibility with external and internal stakeholders
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent project and client management skills
  • Must possess strong attention to detail, motivation, and work ethic
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
