Corteva Agriscience, has an exciting and challenging opportunity for you as the Life Cycle Assessment Leader. As an integral member of the Sustainability team within the Process Technology and Engineering organization, the Life Cycle Assessment Leader will have a multi-faceted role with a unique opportunity to own a critical, growing competency for the company. The job locations that will be considered are Wilmington DE, Midland MI and Indianapolis IN. This position may be remote.

As the Life Cycle Assessment Leader, you will work in collaboration with the Crop Protection Sustainability Leader to advance the LCA competency.

What would be your role:

Strategic

+ Participate in strategic scoping discussions with internal stakeholders

+ Provide direction for LCA activities

LCA Competency

+ Manage and maintain the LCA software solution

+ Train other practitioners in the skill and art of LCA

+ Develop and communicate LCA related information and training materials to internal stakeholders

LCA Execution

+ Prioritize and complete LCAs in collaboration with the team

+ Coordinate data collection

+ Provide data and analysis in a thoughtful, timely manner, providing business with directional insights

Who you would work with:

+ Other LCA practitioners

+ Research and Development scientists

+ Product and process technology leaders

+ Supply chain representatives

+ Procurement experts

+ Commercial and marketing team members

+ May also interact with external parties on related initiatives

To be considered you'll need:

+ BS degree in related field

+ 10-15 years of experience

+ Expertise in LCA, LCA software and Scope 3 GHG accounting/guidelines

+ Working knowledge of LCA ISO standards 14040/14044

Would be even better if you had:

+ BS in Engineering discipline (chemical, environmental engineering preferred)

+ LCA-related certifications

+ Experience in the agriculture business

+ Understanding of engineering disciplines to solve complex problems
