Where You'll Work: Our summer intern will support the Department of Defense (DoD) team within our Government Markets & myMatrixx organization. The intern will focus on special projects specific to DoD including development and support of key business strategies and reporting. Project work can include one of three focus areas; provider engagement, sales coordination, and contract management support. What You'll Do: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders Work with stakeholders to collect requirements and collaborate on analytics and reporting. Project management, document preparation, and data management support to a variety of teams. Other projects as assigned Qualifications: Ideal candidate will be a 3rd or 4th year student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Project Management, or Communications. GPA of 3.0 or higher strongly preferred. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities and able to work with abstract information Strong time management and planning capabilities. Solid project management skills. General Info: Interest in analytical and conceptual thinking to find problems within patterns, assess possible causes and determine a course of action. Possess technical and innovative expertise that allows navigation within systems and data. Operate as a team-player when working with members of the organization. Project work can include one of three focus areas including provider engagement, sales coordinator support, and support the contract team. Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks summer 2022, beginning May 23, 2022. This role can work from home however, geographical preference is for the incumbent to be located in St. Louis, MO area. Summer housing is not provided for this opportunity. One goal of this internship program is to prepare and identify qualified candidates for roles with Cigna post-graduation. Therefore, this temporary internship is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
