Job Summary:


Mortgage Loan Processors proactively manage a pipeline to ensure the timely and accurate packaging of all loans originated through Retail, Wholesale, Home Equity and/or Alternative Delivery Channel originations.

Major Responsibilities:
- Collecting information from the borrower and taking each file from pre-approval to closing
- Accurately entering proper loan information into the system for processing
- Preparing application for submittal to underwriting in accordance w/ specific guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA)
- Reviewing file documentation and ensuring all items needed are requested
- Communicating with borrowers, mortgage sales and/or brokers on loan status and collecting additional documentation to clear conditions.
- Ability to reconcile credit reports, DTI ratios, income analysis for both Self-Employed & W2 borrowers
- Familiarity with reviewing Appraisals and Title for compliance with loan programs
- Ability to reconcile assets and Cash-to-Close requirements in accordance with individual loan programs
- Ability to validate data using Fannie Mae DU automated Underwriting engine
Mortgage Loan Processors serve as a liaison between borrowers, mortgage sales and/or brokers and cross-functional operations staff with a primary focus of role is on day-to-day deliverables. They may also be required to obtain and maintain Lending Authority levels.

Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Mortgage loan processing experience with a strong knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, Jumbo Portfolio product guidelines
- Comprehensive understanding of basic regulations of the business - TRID, Reg B, Truth- in-Lending & Appraisal Disclosure
- Critical thinker with strong decision-making ability
- Experience thriving in a high-volume production environment
- Strong written and verbal communication
