This role is an amazing opportunity for someone with a solid technical background and a passion for business and data analysis. You will be working with a team to create the best end to end member, provider and internal user experience possible by improving foundational processes and creating an integrated model to serve stakeholder needs efficiently. This team is responsible for identifying process and quality gaps, presenting innovative solution options to address these gaps, and implementing the selected business architecture and process enhancements.

The Technology Quality Function is reserved for those positions where Quality is the primary objective of the work delivered. Technology Quality roles will cover all primary quality activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver high quality products and services. These roles include, but are not limited to, strategy, planning, standards, process, policy, tools, engineering, assurance, management, metrics, research and development, automation, data preparation, maintenance, new development, operations, and delivery.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of functional areas across Salesforce platform and ETL instance to drive testing capabilities
  • Participate actively in cross-functional call forums in support of test readiness activities including requirements, testing, defect resolution, production deployment check out/validation
  • Own, drive, and continually improve processes and capabilities related to internal and external end-to-end testing
  • Participate in governance forum in support of end-to-end testing during onboarding and renewal process of new and existing implementations
  • Improve test case writing technique, adopt best practices, and reduce rework and make sure of complete coverage of requirement (no missing test cases)
  • Quality and Productivity Improve testing efficiency and make sure of 100% coverage, use best techniques/tools/test data generation mechanism, and improve productivity in testing sprint by sprint
  • Leverage the test automation strategy/approach to identify areas of improvement (i.e., test automation frameworks, dynamic data collection methodologies, coding standards, components, object repository methods, etc.)
  • Ability to understand design concepts and product architecture
  • Propose solutions for performance and security issues
  • Bring new ideas and initiatives to improve test automation for UI and Non-UI applications while having integration with CI processes
  • Operate in an agile environment, Support defect/issue investigation, resolution, and retesting
  • Clear documentation of test strategy, test cases, defects, and status reports
  • Collaboration and willingness to work with different teams
  • Partner with Quality Engineering lead to identify opportunities for test automation and efficiencies
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision to manage QE deliverables milestones
  • Partner with operations and other resources to develop test plan and strategy and present to leadership
  • Manage overall test deliverables and meet deadlines
  • Manage test data (creation, strategy, and implementation) and responsible for the overall end-to-end test coordination
  • Documenting detailed standard operating procedures, policies, and workflows for operations team
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing
  • Coordinate regression testing, performance testing, and production check out
  • Support user trainers (e.g., help with user guide documentation etc.)
  • Reviews the work of others
  • Develops innovative approaches
  • Sought out as expert and serves as a leader/mentor

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a quality engineering role
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Testing Salesforce.com solutions (APIs, SOQL, APEX, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience working in an agile development team
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Testing ETL solutions
  • Experience with Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Demand Tools, workbench, etc.)
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • Experience in the implementation of testing capabilities
  • Experience communicating, coordinating, and collaborating with business partners and technical teams
  • Experience with test estimations, test environment set-up, test strategizing, test management, and test data
  • Experience writing acceptance criteria and edge test cases
  • Proficiency in Manual Testing
  • Based on the Federal mandate full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role.
