This position will be responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs related to the global Aviation & Marine segments. Conducts market analysis of jobs to determine competitive positioning of the organization's pay programs. Maintains and/or enhances current base, bonus, commission, and other incentive compensation structures; supports compensation review cycles; and supports the Director of Global Compensation on budgeting, planning, writing program documents and other projects. Acts in concert with HRBP colleagues to challenges in the business as they relate to Compensation. Supports business clients by providing consultative support on Compensation matters.
This position reports into the Miami, FL corporate office, remote candidates will be considered.

Compensation practices & policies:
Support core compensation functions including survey participation, job evaluation, market assessment for WFS jobs to determine competitiveness, align programs to business strategy, support and maintain policies and guidelines that drive both commercial initiatives as well as statutory compliance.

Compensation structures:
Actively maintain an enhanced job architecture platform that standardizes job mapping across the regions, is compliant with local labor laws, facilitates career planning and performance management initiatives, and is representative of true market benchmarking for WFS jobs. Partner with HR and the business to understand and utilize the job architecture platform consistently and accurately.

Incentive compensation:
Manage incentive compensation programs along with supplemental programs i.e., guarantees, contests, referral programs etc. Work with legal and sales leadership on commission plan documentation and SOP policies on the administration of the commission payments.

Systems Updates:
Collaborate with HRIS, HR and Payroll teams on Workday updates. Loading changes into test environment and validating those changes, communicating when complete or if additional support is needed.

Job Requirements:
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Finance, HR, Business Management, Organizational Development.
  • This role will be expected to have an intermediate to advanced MS office understanding and proficiency level.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Experience with Workday HRIS platform preferred
  • Compensation certifications (CCP and/or CEP) are preferred but not required
  • 6+ years of relevant compensation experience.
