SIG is seeking an experienced higher education consultant or professional with expertise in the college and university human resources and payroll offices. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of college and university experience as a Director or Manager of the HR and Payroll functions, working directly with the Ellucian Banner tools and processes. Requirements of the Banner HR & Payroll Consultant:

  • Over five years of experience working in HR and payroll offices within colleges or universities
  • Proven ability to review employee and payroll data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience running payroll using the Banner Human Resources module
  • Expertise to navigate through complex HR and payroll processes and resolve technical issues in Banner
  • Extensive knowledge of HR regulations as they pertain to the higher education environment
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex payroll issues and developing innovative solutions to deliver payroll on time
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing the implementation of the Banner Human Resources module
  • Responsibilities of the Banner  HR & Payroll Consultant:

  • Provide Bannerimplementation services such as training, functional consulting and technical support at client sites
  • Analyze current business processes and make suggestions to utilize various technological tools to help improve business processes
  • Review payroll and maximize the utilization of the payroll system functionality.
  • Provide answers to payroll questions and address issues that may arise in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism when collaborating with college and university stakeholders.
