Provider Data SMEs provide support and coaching to peers, ensuring high quality results. The Provider Data SME role assists frontline Provider Data staff in making informed decisions by answering their questions, assisting in issue resolution, providing live (WebEx, Jabber shared, etc.) monitoring, and on the job support. Provider Data SMEs assist Supervisors with projects, inventory management, and team coaching. They also monitor and analyze process improvement initiatives. The SME also represents the team with internal and/or external business partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coaching for productivity and quality
  • Inventory management
  • Identify, Analyze, Monitor and Research process improvement opportunities and communicate with various levels of management and business partners
  • Identify needed updates to documentation including creation of new SOPs and documents including creation of new SOPs and documents
  • Develop and maintain productive work relationships
  • Provide personalized and consultative education and information
  • Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise
  • Research and analyse provider data requests and problems, often in form of special projects and ad-hoc requests
  • Support team in database systems and tools to research provider data issues
  • Maintain current knowledge of business strategies, rules, and procedures (e.g., attend training, meetings, etc.)
  • Assist supervisor in monitoring and reporting team performance metrics

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1+ years experience loading in at least one of the following platform(s): NDB, CSP Facets, COSMOS, NICE, PULSE, or TOPS
  • 1+ year or more experience within the healthcare industry.
  • 18 months+ internal or external customer response / customer service experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of internal processes and procedures for loading and maintaining provider records
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in tracking, trending and reporting on metrics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing or modifying policies and procedures
  • Experience with quality programs and process improvement initiatives
  • Experience with workforce effectiveness practices
  • Solid track record meeting target production, quality, and time utilization metrics.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Previous coaching or buddy experience
  • Experience in managing cross functional projects and/or making presentations

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $43,200 to $76,700.
