We are currently looking to hire a 100% remote Environmental Project Manager. This position offers flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the USA, as long as all qualifications are met.
Role Overview
As an Environmental Project Manager with our team, you will focus on providing environmental services and strategies for midstream pipeline projects, including natural gas, hydrogen, and crude oil. Your responsibilities will involve managing multiple projects from routing/siting to construction compliance, and collaborating with various teams and agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Managing multiple projects from routing/siting to construction complianceDirecting resource teams on environmental studies and permit applicationsCoordinating with federal, state, and local agenciesCollaborating with multidisciplinary teamsCommunicating with the public and stakeholdersOverseeing project scope, budget, schedule, and forecastingEngaging in business development activitiesConducting field reviews and compliance inspections
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
A B.S. or B.A. in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or related field10+ years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting of pipelinesExpertise in FERC and federal environmental regulationsStrong communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Additionally, professional certifications are a plus.
Tools and Processes
You will be required to use tools such as MS Project, Teams for video meetings, and MS Dynamics for reporting and tracking. Regular team and departmental meetings are conducted to ensure effective collaboration.
