After the first three months in HCPR, the role will transition permanently to a Humana Pharmacy Technician Representative (Technician in Training) role. The Rx Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative 1 performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.**Pharmacy Technician Representative (Technician in Training) Job Description**The Rx Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative 1 assists in driving prescription drug optimization in cases where patients are taking multiple medications. Through effective communication, helps drive health awareness with patients through Rx Education and targeted quarterly campaigns. Assists Pharmacists by placing and retrieving calls to confirm patients are taking drugs and provides counseling. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.
