Formulates, communicates, implements Tactical Sales strategies in line with strategic / annual objectives and customer requirements. Continuously monitors sales success and adjusts strategy as required to meet near term revenue commitments. Maintains accurate/up-to-date business/market metrics for sales opportunity funnel, new product launches, customer programs and win/loss analysis.
100% Account Management for assigned existing and new customers (business execution, contact relations, sales, and bookings forecasts, negotiating and proposal writing). Is responsible to meet or exceed assigned sales and bookings objectives.
Defines and quantifies VOC critical requirements for new business and engineering development. Regular customer site visits to discuss customer needs; product features, benefits, and competitive advantages; quoting and negotiating pricing; presenting product presentations and conducting and attending meetings. Must be able to travel min. 30% and up to 50% of the time.
Plans and develops Tactical product line and promotional Marketing strategies in line with Strategic objectives. Continuously evaluates customer VOC feedback, market conditions, competitor data and implements marketing plan changes as needed to achieve long-term product line viability. Develops, recommends, and champions market-driven product line architecture.
Collaborates with the Director of Marketing & Sales and other staff personnel to define Strategic sales and marketing objectives for all Navigation Products in line with goals and objectives.
Maintains a working knowledge of governmental regulation and practices affecting SDI's customers and products.
Complies with US Government export compliance policies and procedures.
May perform other duties as required or assigned.
