A Brighton based Global Digital SaaS Software Company with offices in the UK and Australia have a fantastic fully remote opportunity for an experienced, ambitious and career minded Product Designer with experience of working in cross functional agile SaaS product teams to become involved in creating and delivering design solutions that are technically viable and which will deliver value to their millions of customers worldwide. Since Product Design expertise will be integral in delivering both a broad and constantly evolving product suite, the ideal candidate must be able to clearly demonstrate their experience with SaaS product design through a demonstrable portfolio that showcases your experience working with and developing design systems and design documentation. The sucessful candidate will work alongside the company's skilled development team during the build to ensure their designs are implemented to the highest standard so you should be adept at clearly defining problems and framing design decisions with rationale, data, and research insights to increase the potential for product success. To truly excel in this role you will need to be proactive, approachable, adaptable, and collaborative: an expert who really understands problems that then allow you allowing you to develop effective design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating innovative UX and UI solutions that inspire the company's teams and customers
- Owning design problems and their solutions from start to finish
- Ensuring the company's designs solve their customer's needs, by involving customers in their design process and always advocating for users within the business
- Iterating, testing, and refining solutions to ensure so the company's end products solve user problems
- Promoting best practice amongst the company
- Encouraging others to develop confidence in, and contribute to, the design process
- Identifying opportunities and helping conduct research, to help the company better understand problems and test solutions
- Always considering accessibility, ensuring the company's solutions not only comply with accessibility guidelines but are truly user-friendly for all.
