A Bit About Us

Cocofloss is a mission-driven company delivering high-end oral care products. At Cocofloss, we believe we can control our destiny — teeth for life is possible — and taking care of your smile should be a fun and rewarding daily ritual. Oral health is an integral part of overall health, and we aim to help restore balance in health with oral care products that are both innovative and fun.

You can find us online at cocofloss.com as well as in retail stores like Credo Beauty, Anthropologie, goop Lab, Free People, and Bloomingdales. We are a sister-founded and bootstrapped company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Within a few short years, we've built a multi-million dollar brand, with hopes of expanding the $2.8B oral care space.

About the Role

Cocofloss is looking for a Supply Chain Operations Manager to help run our end-to-end supply chain process.

You will own vendor relationships and supply chain execution to ensure the efficient production and movement of merchandise from our global factories to our customers' homes (or retail stores). You will also have direct influence over how our existing processes should be brought to the next level to keep pace with our unprecedented growth. At Cocofloss, we're invested in establishing Cocofloss as one of the most valuable and cherished global brands while taking care of people and the planet.

What You'll Do

Analyze and solve operational problems

  • Analyze business processes to identify key metrics and opportunities to improve operations
  • Create and own tools to translate sales forecasts into demand plans and control inventory costs
  • Develop reporting and KPIs to measure efficiencies and effectiveness of inventory and demand planning
  • Summarize the team's work in clear and concise written documents and plans

Ensure a high standard of execution of our supply chain operations

  • Proactively monitor order-to-delivery, POs, inventory levels, forecast accuracy, and other relevant KPIs
  • Use demand forecasts to assess current inventory levels, develop projections for future orders, and clearly present your recommendations to the team
  • Identify and resolve supply constraints by working with vendors to formulate action plans to maintain high-levels of in-stock rates

Lead projects and deliver results

  • Develop detailed project plans to bring new opportunities to life
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with product, engineering, finance, operations, and creative teams  to ensure projects are completed on time and error-free
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential issues and risks

Who You Are

  • Have 4+ years experience in supply chain, demand planning, and logistics, ecommerce and pre-Series B startup experience strongly preferred
  • Experience managing a team of at least 2-5 people
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience building quantitative models and analyses to drive business insights; experience with financial modeling is a plus!
  • Very comfortable using and building dashboards (ex: Tableau / Looker / Sheets) and creating structure for unstructured data
  • Experience with 3rd party warehousing, inventory management, procurement, and contract negotiation
  • High level of autonomy, self-motivation, and resourcefulness

Location

  • Work from anywhere with frequent travel to our HQ in the San Francisco Bay Area and 3PL partners

Benefits at Cocofloss

  • Our perks and benefits include medical and dental insurance, gym stipends (including online classes), and a generous vacation policy of 21 paid-time-off days in addition to national holidays. “Balance & bliss” is part of our core “flossophy” and we value work-life flexibility. We've been a remote team since before the Covid-19 pandemic, and we pride ourselves on our ability to stay connected, even at a distance.
