The Customer Operations Specialist is a unique opportunity:Reporting to the Director, this role will lead and manage programs with an exciting team to increase Videojet's share within the Pharmaceutical Medical and Industrial Track & Trace markets. This position will provide the opportunity to have an impact in many aspects of the business from pre-sale support of the pharma med team all the way through to coordination of customer's order shipments. This position will require approximately 10% travel which includes some office-based work.We offer full benefits from day 1, 401k match, tuition reimbursement, and hybrid flexibility to work remotely as well as in one of our offices (1-2 days per week would be typical to be in-office in one of our Videojet corporate offices Wood Dale, IL; Belleville, IL; or Duluth, GA.) We are open to discussing this with the right candidate.In your main role at Videojet, you will:Lead and manage programs with both internal and external suppliers to ensure orders and shipments are processed and delivered accurately and on time.Coordinate delivery of equipment from overseas suppliers to ensure quick transit of equipment through customs by working with Videojet shipping partners to provide all necessary documentation.Fully engage and participate on cross functional sales & order management teams. Provide knowledge about multiple projects, products and/or customers to increase team member understanding.Maintain defined inventory levels on high volume items by monitoring on hand quantities and initiating purchase orders when current stock reaches predefined levels.Request quotes and create purchase orders to suppliers for components included on customer purchase orders; Develop supplier process and delivery continuous improvement actions to support customers.Communicate order status and expected delivery schedules to sales, application engineers, project managers and Videojet customers.Work within Videojet order management systems to create part numbers, modify customer order information, reserve items to orders and manage expected ship dates.Engage, Coordinate and develop product content and information with our marketing and product management teams to ensure commercial POD's and learning tools with our internal and external customers.YOUR EDUCATION AND/OR BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE:5-7 years of experience preferred, Customer Service or Supply Chain or similarHas worked with various Order Management and business systems across functional areasA pro-active and flexible professional style with good interpersonal skills; Lead across teams and functions to drive Best Team wins mentality.Pragmatic problem solver who can support and lead others to deliver the best solutions for our customers.Service-oriented and engaged colleague who seeks feedback to continuously improveCustomer focused with proven attention to detail skillsNatural team-player, happy to work within a successful, diverse and talented teamWhen you join us, you'll also be joining Danaher's global organization, where 69,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
