RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in the logistics industry in Orlando, FL that is looking for a Data Scientist for a remote position. Summary: The Data Scientist will provide data science solutions for business operations by monitoring trends, identifying opportunities, developing and presenting recommendations, implementing the strategies, and measuring the impact. The Data Scientist will identify and diagnose data inconsistencies and errors, document data assumptions, and develop queries and perform extensive programming to access, transform, and prepare data for statistical modeling. This is a contract-to-hire and fully remote position. Duties:
  • Data Scientist will work with large complex data sets to extract, analyze, visualize, and infer meaningful insights
  • Design and monitor tools to measure a particular problem or the contribution of a particular technique over time
  • Work with Product Management and Application Development teams to identify, prototype, develop and deploy ML models


Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with data sources like Snowflake, SQL Server, and Kafka
  • Experience with research and development of ML-based solutions, including the productization, deployment, and lifecycle management of production-level ML models
  • Experience in developing ML solutions with Python ML Stack (Pandas, Matplotlib, SciKitLearn), Jupyter, Keras/TensorFlow
  • Experience with Big Data processing: Hadoop, Redis, Spark, Big Query, Data Lake, Qlik View
  • Experience working on one of DB technologies, writing queries etc. - Oracle, No-SQL, PL/SQL, or Postgres (plus SQL Server and Snowflake)
  • Experience developing cloud-based applications; preferably AWS, GCC
  • Experience in full-stack development of enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, JavaScript, SOAP, REST Webservices, Spring Boot, Microservice
