Remote Director of CNS Pharmacology

My client is expanding and seeks a Head of Pharmacology to build and direct the pharmacology function. The ideal candidate will take on the following tasks:

Build and manage a team of external CROs and partnerships

Hire and develop staff with state of the art scientific and operational expertise to build a world class drug discovery engine

Design and implement pharmacological strategies for lead generation, optimization, and development of candidate selection

Develop and implement processes to enable clinical confirmation of target engagement, proof of pharmacology, and proof of concept.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

PhD and 10+ years of industry experience with 5 of those years in a leadership position

The ideal candidate will have extensive drug discovery and development experience and significant experience designing, building, and leading operation of successful outsourced pharmacology
