Description:

Transamerica is looking to hire customer service representatives for their Annuities contact center team. This is a call center role where they will be taking anywhere from 40-75 inbound calls a day. The calls will require candidates to authenticate the call, verify the caller, etc. Calls will be from beneficiaries, customers, etc. checking in on their policies. Calls will be different as it is not a scripted call center. Candidates will need to be comfortable navigating through systems as they will be working through 3-6 tabs at once.

Responsible for conserving, maintaining, developing and increasing business volume through existing customers by phone. Develop internal and external customer relationships by providing understandable, concise, and accurate information through written and oral communication.

Position: Customer Service Representative

Location: 6400 C ST SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 52404, United States

Currently: 100% Remote. Will at some point move in office after covid dies down - no date has been set

Pay: $15.25/hour

Shift: M-F 8-hour shift between 8am-5:30pm

Overtime: Possible. Closing shifts must take calls that are in que as of 5pm

Training: 8am-5pm 4 or 5 Weeks of training over Microsoft Teams

  • Highschool Diploma
  • MUST have access to WIFI at home
