Job Description
Manages a team of Data Analysts using established best practices. Applies experience from strategy consulting, analytics, and data engineering to successfully direct the application of analytical solutions to support business goals and objectives for the Internal Audit Department. Partners with other Internal Audit leaders and stakeholder to gather business requirements and design solutions to meet objectives, which includes data wrangling, dashboard development, implementation, and communications including showcasing the data outcomes. Leads the data management and engineering capabilities for the department. Drive the department’s innovation portfolio through the maintenance and prioritization of projects, generating an intake of ideas for process improvements and technology solutions that enhance department productivity and effectiveness. Partner across the “3 Lines of Defense” to strengthen alignment on vision, goals, and roadmap, as well as deliver and mature integrated risk management capabilities. Support the implementation of a comprehensive data and analytics strategy to manage risk across the company.
Required Qualifications
• 5 or more years of experience in structuring a problem, creating an analytical roadmap, building a solution in collaboration with external stakeholders, socializing and driving implementation.
• 5 or more years of experience in data analytics including automation, visualization (Tableau, Power BI), descriptive and prescriptive analysis.
• 5 or more years of experience in leading data analytics teams by creating a vision, leading day to day problem solving and coaching/grooming the team to deliver consistent impactful solutions.
• 5 or more years of experience in engaging senior leaders (Sr. Dir, Executive Directors, VP+) to create a vision and execute its implementation.
• 5 or more years of experience with data acquisition, validation and ingestion including big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, SAS, etc.
