Remote SAP Data Analyst

Job Description

This Data Quality Analyst will be working on a transformation initiative to ensure consistency across the beverage companys business processes with this global deployment focusing on North America. The initiative will require data transformation from source/legacy systems into S/4 HANA platform. This resource will work hand in hand with higher level implementation leads enforcing strict enterprise data management strategies through defined data standards and governance in order to deliver business transformation within the SAP S/4 HANA projects. This particular resource will work with the more simple objects within OTC, P2P, MTD, as part of extended Data Conversion team on day to day basis as well as engaging the market business process/data owners. They will be driven to find opportunities where they see data issues an create data quality rules implemented by a technical team who then test the data and then executes. They will drive root cause analysis and determine which team should take action based on the cause. There are 97 different kinds of data sets for this project.

Ex) If a material description should be 40 characters in SAP when taking the data from the legacy system to SAP, knowing that there might be special characters because the legacy system and SAP are different, the rule will say this should be 40 characters... once the DQ Analyst implements it, it will show if the materials comply with that rule. If there is an issue, they will determine the action that takes place to resolve it.

Minimum Requirements

2+ years of Data Analysis, excellent analytical and communication skills

SQL skills for data extraction, look at tables themselves

Data Analysis: data models, tables, fields, moving to another data model

SAP OTC experience

Data migration

Desired Skills

End to end implementations of SAP ERP/ECC with responsibility for Data Quality and Masterdata standards
