**Description** The Product Owner 2 is responsible for conveying product vision and roadmap to an Agile delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing product backlog. The Product Owner 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. **Responsibilities** The Product Owner 2 leads all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace, by developing products to meet specific customer needs and achieve specific cost and success outcomes. Once products are launched, monitors efficacy of products and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs across each customer segmentation, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. The Product Owner 2 shares the product vision and works closely with the Business Owner, Product Manager, Release Train Engineer, and Delivery Manager to ensure the team delivers value to the business. This individual will work with key business and IT partners to develop strategic plans for the technologies impacting Member, Provider and Employer / Broker service call centers. This individual is a self-starter; with the ability to identify and pursue opportunities without being provided explicit direction. Strong presentation skills, analytic skills and a passion for improving consumer experiences using technology are essential. Primary Responsibilities: * Create business features and stories * Practical understanding of SAFE principles and practices * Shares and decomposes Features into user stories * Develop a deep understanding of the customer and product needs * Recognized voice of the business to the team * Works closely with Product Owners and Product Manager to represent capabilities and features at team level * Business requirements are represented in the product backlog * Ensures traceability between requirements to Features to user stories * Review of test cases against user stories acceptance criteria * Review design documentation against user stories acceptance criteria * Assist product owners and product managers with discovery work **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of experience with Product Owner, Project Management and / or Business Analysis + Experience driving teams and management to decisions + Experience working with cross functional teams + Experience working with various teams simultaneously + Experience systematically analyzing problems, drawing relevant conclusions, and devising appropriate courses of action + Core business hours align to Eastern Standard Time (EST) + Must have ability to support after-hours releases based on business need + Must have ability to participate in on-call rotations + Experience working with one or more of the following call and screen recording platforms including but not limited to: + Genesys PureCloud + Verint + Mattersight + Cogito **Work-At-Home Requirements** + WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mbs download x 10mbs upload) is required. + A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information **Preferred Qualifications:** + Ability to effectively break down barriers to maintain progress on initiatives + Experience in working with Agile / Scrum work environment as a Product Owner: writing user stories, and following the development process through user story acceptance + Experience with Azure Dev Ops or Jira Align + Experience with Microsoft Visio + Diplomatic with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills + Healthcare insurance industry experience + Adept at adjusting to changing circumstances quickly and professionally + Able to make quick decisions when clarification or modification is needed + Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication with both technical and business audiences + Demonstrate strategic thinking by using appropriate information to diagnose problems, identify possible solutions and collaborate with impacted groups to drive decisions + Self-directed and able to drive detailed solutions to completion with minimal oversight + Detail oriented and obsessively organized + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40<>
