Global CFO - NYC based (semi-remote)

A global media and entertainment conglomerate is seeking a Global CFO to oversee all corporate fp&a, accounting, treasury and tax for the holding company and all subsidiary entities. The CFO will report to the Global CEO and interact extensively with the Board of Directors as well as all members of executive leadership both at the corporate and subsidiary levels.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with 10-20 years of progressive experience spanning a combination of audit, accounting and fp&a. This CFO should have prior experience in an IPO-ready or publicly traded company with both domestic and international operations, as they will play a key role in scaling the finance function leading up to a potential long-term exit.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee teams responsible for all financial reporting, corporate accounting, treasury and tax for both the corporate operations and subsidiary entities.
  • Review all accounting and reporting including developing meaningful management reports, profitability analyses and KPI dashboard.
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for all treasury activities including banking and financing relationships.
  • Spearhead the sourcing, selection and implementation of financial systems with an emphasis on streamlining accounting and finance operations.
  • Responsible for tax compliance, strategy and planning in partnership with outside CPA's
  • Provide strong, forward-looking analytical leadership, embracing change and innovation.
  • Lead annual budgeting and forecasting process in addition to long-range financial planning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Active CPA with early career experience in audit (Big 4 preferred)
  • Currently functioning as lead financial professional (VP or CFO) for a global publicly traded organization
  • Extensive experience owning an accounting operation for a consolidated, multi-entity environment
  • Exceptional leadership and managerial skills with the proven ability to oversee global teams
Salary: $250K - $300K + bonus
