Other perks included a competitive base salary, open PTO policy, flex work hours, benefits stipend, the opportunity to work with a transparent Executive Leadership Team..and more.JOB SUMMARIES: Lead High Voltage Project Development Engineer / Energy Storage Development Electrical Engineer - UtilityScale Renewables The Lead HV Project Development Engineer / Energy Storage Development Electrical Engineer - works with the EPC Manager on strategic utility-scale renewable EPC and project development processes through the full lifecycle of the projects tackling engineering, interconnection, permitting, regulatory, and land acquisition initiatives The Lead HV Project Development Engineer / Energy Storage Development Electrical Engineer- works with the Transmission & Interconnection team on defining, reviewing, and executing interconnection agreement requirements to ensure the battery storage projects are successfully integrated into the grid The Lead HV Project Development Engineer / Energy Storage Development Electrical Engineer - has ownership of bid and procurement/contracting management initiatives including responses to RFPs / RFQs / RFIs as well as the creation of internal databases for major equipment pricing in coordination with project lead times The Lead HV Project Development Engineer / Energy Storage Development Electrical Engineer - navigates the design and build out of high voltage substations and transmission systems based on project utility interconnection needs The Lead HV Project Development Engineer / Energy Storage Development Electrical Engineer - leads project based renewables optimization, risk management, and warranty negotiation activities Preconstruction Engineer / Energy Storage Project Engineer - UtilityScale Renewables The Renewables Preconstruction Engineer / Energy Storage Project Engineer - develops capital cost estimates, feasibility assessments, and milestone schedules to support financial valuation models for the early stage development utility-scale renewables projects (solar, battery storage, solar + storage, energy storage..etc) The Renewables Preconstruction Engineer / Energy Storage Project Engineer - leads the RFP / RQ/ RFI (request for proposal) creation process on major utility-scale renewables projects (solar, battery storage, solar + storage, energy storage..etc) The Renewables Preconstruction Engineer / Energy Storage Project Engineer - acts as a key EPC stakeholder and facilitator of the early stage estimation process for large scale utility-scale renewables projects (solar, battery storage, solar + storage, energy storage..etc) The Renewables Preconstruction Engineer / Energy Storage Project Engineer - is heavily focused on assessing EPC technology (solar, battery storage, solar + storage, energy storage..etc) and site layout options with respect to long-term utility-scale renewable project initiatives The Renewables Preconstruction Engineer / Energy Storage Project Engineer - is accountable for performance requirements to deliver maximum potential EPC project value while minimizing execution and operating risks QUALIFICATIONS: 5-10+ years of utility-scale renewable energy experience working with IPPs / Developers / Owners MUST HAVE RECENT EXPERIENCE with pre-construction engineering / project development initiatives such as site-layout/optimization, transmission interconnection requirements, procurement/contracting, and pre-construction management specifically in the utility-scale renewables industry Experience in early stage EPC / development phases of utility scale renewable energy projects including engineering design, construction, and feasibility studies with a HUGE emphasis on the RFP/ RFI / RFQ and PROJECT ESTIMATION PROCESS High Voltage Engineering Design Review for HV substations. substation collections systems, and transmission line interconnects Well versed in high level technical project management initiatives such as contractor evaluation and selection, financials, schedules, estimates, contracts, constructability reviews, project phasing and earned value KPIs Working knowledge technical and commercial elements of the major equipment / technology supply, engineering, and pre-construction processes, specifically around battery performance specifications, and warranty negotiation + management Current or previous experience as a Preconstruction Engineer, Pre-construction Project Manager (E), Project Engineer, or Project Development Engineer for large utility-scale renewable energy projects with a focus on solar, energy storage, and battery storage projects
