Workday Reporting is responsible for supporting HR and employees to ensure they can obtain the talent data needed to support HR processes, improve decision making, and drive better business outcomes, while ensuring data privacy requirements are met.

This position can reside in any Medtronic office or work remote. 


A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Work with HR Centers of Expertise, vendors and/or IT to design, implement and maintain core human resource reporting requirements
  • Combines Human Resource and specialized system knowledge to recommend, implement, and plan for improvements, enhancements, and new features for Workday Reporting
  • Delivers and manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results
  • May be responsible for processes within job area
  • Provides support via the ServiceNow system to process worker information requests
  • Problem solving and understanding of multiple issues, job areas or specialties to resolve issue
  • Help support and provide maintenance for various annual process, such as Goals, Mid-Year Review, Year-End, Promotion Process, Surveys, Workday Releases, Monthly Report Writer Audits
  • Maintain report maintenance and reporting standards, training, and communications
  • Make improvements to processes, systems, or products to enhance performance of the job area
  • Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of Workday reporting experience; or an advanced degree
  • Nice to Have

  • HR system knowledge and experience, preferably Workday Reporting and ServiceNow
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • HR analytics experience related to people or talent
  • Can work independently under limited supervision to determine and develop approach to solutions.
  • General HR practices
  • Strong knowledge of HR and policies, such as EEO, Data Privacy, Employee Relations
