Job Description
Infosys is seeking an Oracle Technology Analyst- Oracle Apps DBA with Performance Tuning experience. In this role as Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your Technical and Leadership proficiency during day to day / major event DBA activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 2+ years of Information Technology experience
- U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are not able to sponsor at this time
- Candidate may be anywhere in the US and must be willing to travel to the client location for project needs.
- Experience in Oracle DBA activities include installing, maintaining, patching, cloning, Performance Tuning, Backup and Recovery (RMAN), User management, troubleshooting, Data guard, golden gate and change management Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as Oracle Database Administrator. End to End 24x7 DBA support for Oracle Based & OPS instances including Hyperion, Siebel and DBA support for SQL-Server databases. DBA activities include installing, maintaining, patching, cloning, Performance Tuning, Backup and Recovery (RMAN), User management, troubleshooting, Data guard, golden gate and change management on oracle databases versions ranging from 11.1.0.7 to 19c
- Experience Oracle DB upgrade from 11.1.0.7 to 11.2.0.4 and 11.2.0.4 to 12c, 11g /12c to 19c
- Extensive experience on performance Engineering and tuning
- Experience on Cluster (RAC) 11g/12c with Data Guard technology and Golden gate configuration /issue fixing
- Experience on Oracle DBA activities on AWS
The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
