Description:

The PAM Analyst position is responsible for analyzing and reporting security posture across the enterprise. This role is responsible for interfacing with IT teams across the enterprise to help raise the visibility of security defects.

This role is responsible for the design, engineering, and ensuring that security is "built into" the organization's application and IAM platforms, including third party vendor connectivity and interactions. The PAM Analyst maintains current knowledge of new products, industry trends and recommends enhancements and purchases that allow the Company to maintain healthy and functional applications and protect its employees' identities. This role provides technical consulting to management, business users, and technical associates to ensure that applications and platforms are secure. This is an individual contributor position.

Essential Functions

Strategy & Planning:

>Work with the business units to identify business requirements for requested projects.

>Identify and analyze all aspects of projects.

>Perform feasibility and cost/benefit analyses for proposed projects.

>Plan and organize tasks, report on project progress, coordinate with additional development teams.

>Review and submit technical and security improvement recommendations.

>Help security team gather non-functional access requirements to augment the delivery team plans for releasing new functionality.

>Assist with planning and implementing practices to help further integrate and automate access management tools.

Acquisition & Deployment:

>Work with the security teams and management by creating reports to track security flaws at an enterprise level

>Maintain relationships with software vendors to recommend advances in key access management software.

>Research and evaluate alternate privilege access management tools and techniques.

>Support foundational access tools and technology.

>Support team implementing access management related requests.

>Provide services with implementing, designing, and maintaining password vaults.

>Assist with PKI certificate management.

>Provide on-call support for end users for all in-place security solution.

Incidental Functions:

>Conduct research into new technologies, including tools, components, and frameworks.

>Monitor and respond to capacity and performance needs of the PAM infrastructure.

>Report to leadership the progress with project and task management as necessary.

>Help create presentations to management, clients, and peer groups as requested.

>10% travel is required

>Work outside the standard office 7.5-hour workday may be required with on-call availability.

Position Requirements:

>Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in related field or equivalent experience.

Knowledge & Experience:

>5+ years of IT experience.

>Understanding of directory services.

>3+ years experience with Privilege Access Management tools (i.e. CyberArk PAS, HashiCorp Vault, BeyondTrust)

>Thorough understanding of SSL/TLS protocols

Preferred Experience:

>Moderate understanding of Public Key Infrastructure.

>Experience in scripting and automating workflows.

>Knowledge of multi-factor authentication and how it is implemented.

>Knowledge of task management tools.

>Thorough understanding of security password vaults.

>Exposure to SIEM tools like Splunk, QRadar, or Logrhythm.

Personal Attributes:

>Good customer service orientation.

>Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

>Ability to provide security support services to the enterprise.

>Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

>Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
