OVERVIEW We are looking for passionate individuals with an interest in healthcare to join our rapidly expanding Patient Recruitment & Engagement team. We are particularly interested in those with a Patient Recruitment, Project Management and a Clinical Operations background. PURPOSE This individual will provide operational leadership for the Patient Recruitment and Engagement project delivery unit Lead a team of patient recruitment professionals focused on improving overall patient recruitment and retention effectiveness for IQVIA's customers and ensure we deliver as contracted.Assist in determining department's strategic goals and objectives along with other departmental leaders and Global Patient and Site Solutions (GPSS) leadershipThis role will support the achievement of gross new business targets through operational management. Lead strategic initiatives and work with leadership across disciplines to develop implementation plans. RESPONSIBILITIES Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop, operationalize, and implement best-in-class strategies for customers to meet recruitment goals or increase productivity at lower-performing sitesWork together with operational team to translate recruitment, retention and site engagement strategies into operational plans to positively impact recruitment and retention ratesProvide operational leadership oversight for the resourcing process, including hiring, on-boarding and training standards and evaluating existing and future resource alternativesEnsure internal processes align with other stakeholder departments to optimize delivery and impact of patient recruitment and retention products, as well as site operational support servicesAbility to balance operational and strategic goalsEvaluate workload, quality and budget metrics through regular review and reporting of findingsCo-lead departmental quality or process improvement initiatives REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of the drug development processes and in-depth knowledge of GPSS processes and practicesKnowledge of clinical research financial parameters and project financial tracking and accounting methods. Strong leadership skills. Effective presentation skills. Knowledge and ability to apply GCP/ICH and applicable regulatory guidelinesEffective organizational and problem-solving skills MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree and 12 yrs. relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
