We’re a team of experts optimizing the performance and integrity of IT infrastructure and ensuring consistency and synchronization across all infrastructure components. Alongside supporting new and existing applications, we work with other IT groups and business units to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems. What you’ll achieve A large portion of our environment resides on F5 Networking and other load balancing products Like NSX-ALB. As a Network Architect you will focus on load balancing networks and design. You will work with network and application teams to design and deploy complex GSLB and Full Proxy solutions. This individual will understand large enterprise network environments and be able to provide solutions that support applications of all types (TCP, HTTP, UDP, FTP, etc.). These environments will be hosted in both public and private clouds using automation tools such as Ansible, AWX, and Terraform and work with Automation IaaS developers to build template for our CI/CD pipelines. You will: Meet with application teams to design complex (layer 3-7 network) load balancing solutions Partners with other network and engineering teams to solution load balancing and infrastructure as a service (IaaS) for private and public cloud environments, using automation Provides L3 operational support for production F5 Network, NGNIX and NSX-ALB (AVI) infrastructure: Full Proxy Load Balancing (Big-IP LTM), GSLB (Big-IP DNS) and Access Policy Manager (APM) Routinely applies broad knowledge of network-related processes and procedures to the completion of complex assignments Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of highly complex problems Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 8+ years relevant experience; or equivalent work experience F5 Administrator experience and/or F5-CA Certification Advanced Knowledge of F5's Networks (LTM, Big-IP DNS, APM), route/switching network protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and WAN Technologies (MPLS, VPLS, & IP SLA) Possesses knowledge, skills and abilities host enterprise applications within software defined networks and cloud environments Possesses knowledge, skills and abilities required to resolve most network-related problems and apply broad knowledge of network administration to the diagnoses and resolution of network problems. Ability to offer advice, direction, and support to other associates on the team, articulate customer requirements and explain them to management and other stakeholders. Desirable Requirements Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible (AWX or Tower), Terraform for deploying configs. Advanced knowledge of security issues and implications to network solutions; Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), preferably Routing and Switching.
