What you'll do:Provide guidance and direction to employees and managers regarding company HR policies and procedures that champions the company's vision, values and culture.Consult and build relationships with all levels of operational management and other HR team members.Recommend effective solutions for addressing workplace concerns and escalate as applicable.Support managers on employee inquiries by creating new processes and policies, and interpreting existing policies and providing consistent practicesMaintain accurate, timely, and required documentation of activities to ensure quality employee records and metrics.Collaborates with managers/executives and support and guide Blume employees.Routinely exercises judgment within broadly defined policies and practices.Recommends or takes appropriate actions to address concerns as needed.Provides front-line support in the prevention, resolution, and referral of employee questions or concerns.Create and implement internal team procedures while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.Exercise sound judgment and expertise within broadly defined policies and practices.Job Requirements:3+ years of experience consulting on human resources policies and processes with employees and managersCreative and innovative thinker; not taking the standard "check the box" approachAbility to build and maintain positive relationships, be able to partner, use a subtle style and work collaboratively with othersServes as an advocate for our employeesConnects employee engagement to corporate business initiatives (own the message)Must have prior experience as an HR Generalist or in Employee RelationsAbility to manage exempt & non-exempt employeesResolves employee HR questions and issuesStrong conflict resolution skillsAbility to work effectively in a virtual team environment (currently hybrid model due to covid)Demonstrated strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skillsStrong professional verbal and written communicationsExperience in designing and recommending successful talent development programs for internal employeesTechnically proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & OutlookBachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/trainingOpenings in all 3 office locations: Canton, MA; Pleasanton, CA; Atlanta, GA (remote)
